International Students Program

The International Student Program is a portfolio co-directed by the GLSA and the Law Students' Society. This Program was created in 2013 as part of a faculty-wide drive to better cater to the growing cohort of international students at Melbourne Law School.

This Program will include a number of social and career-oriented initiatives designed to best serve the needs of international students at the Law School.

Initiatives under this program will include a Tandem Program – a social and mentoring program that will help introduce international students to life at Melbourne Law School with buddies (later-year international students) acting as a point of contact and mentor for the incoming students. The Tandem program will also involve a number of social and career-related events during the year.

JD STUDENTS ABROAD

The GLSA has created a new group for students stuck overseas and those who are (or would like) to be involved in any way with international/overseas student well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope that this group will provide a forum for students who are overseas or interstate to chat informally about how they’re managing doing the JD overseas.

You can join the group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/355435916157897
