The GLSA is thrilled to announce that former Federal Court Judge and renown public interest-focused Barrister - Ron Merkel QC - will be speaking at the Semester 1 Global Thinking Lecture Series (GLTS). 

Mr Merkel will be speaking on cases such as CPCF, M68, S99, and topics including indefinite detention, offshore processing in the 3rd world and turn back policies. The event will be 6:15pm, 9 May 2019 in Room 109.

Dr. Dang currently works as an arbitrator and academic based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Before setting up Hop Dang’s Chambers in Hanoi, he was a partner at Allens for many years with a strong practice in cross-border infrastructure projects and international commercial arbitration.
